What you get for free

Without an account you can create a Short story. You can make one such story. Create a free account to make more.

Creating an account is free, and every account gets 3 free stories. They can be any length: Short, Medium or Multi-chapter. When a story you create from your account is finished, it gets its own illustration. Your stories are saved, so you can read them again another night.

How to create the story

All fields in the form are optional, but the more you fill in, the more tailored the story becomes.

  1. Open the form for creating a story.
  2. Type the main character's name and choose a pronoun, such as he, she or they.
  3. Use "About the main character" and "Plot and other details" to describe the hero and what should happen, for example where the story takes place or who else is in it.
  4. Choose a moral, such as "Friendship" or "Sharing". There are twelve to choose from, and you can also pick "No specific moral" or "Surprise me!".
  5. Choose a length and click "Create the story". Without an account the story is Short. With an account you can choose any of the three lengths.

Wonder Saga uses generative AI to write the story and to draw the illustration. The story is written from scratch, based on the details you give, so you get a new story rather than a ready-made one with your child's name dropped in. When the free stories run out

There are three subscriptions, with 10, 31 or 100 stories a month, paid monthly or yearly. With 31 stories a month you have one bedtime story every night. You can see what they cost on the page with subscription plans and prices. The stories you have already created stay on your account, and you can read them again even if you cancel your subscription later.
